I’m limited to cutting on 8.5″ x 11″ sheets (positioned landscape or portrait). Actual design(s) on those sheets will vary in size. What Material Do You Use? I use quality .2mm mylar/plastic type stencil sheets. They are thin and flexible but not as thin as paper. They are NOT the cheap flimsy paper thin transparency sheets I’ve seen used before. These are the best quality material sheets I’ve been able to find so this is all I use. How Do You Ship The Stencils? I ship Monday-Saturday, same or next day. Any orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be mailed on Monday morning. Stencils are shipped USPS First Class (free of charge to you). If you need it faster, contact me. I package each stencil between sheets of heavy card-stock and place them inside a 12.5″ x 9.5″ Self Seal White Photo Stay Flats Cardboard Envelope Mailer with a DO NOT BEND sticker. Are Your Stencils Reusable? Yes. I’ve used ones I’ve made for my own crafting MANY times over and over. If you choose to clean them, carefully use water right after painting; however, DO NOT attempt to use solvents – the material will not hold up to certain cleaning agents. Can You Do Larger Stencils? Yes. I’ve done larger versions for people before but it requires spanning the design over multiple sheets. I allow for some shared elements of the design from sheet to sheet to make it easy to line them up. The idea being that you paint one sheet, then line up the next sheet and paint it, wash rinse repeat 🙂 I usually come down to $12.00 PER SHEET on these types of orders. If interested in something like this, just contact me. How Do CUSTOM REQUESTS Work? I work on incoming custom requests as time allows. Sometimes due to work volume and other life obligations I may be delayed in my response, but just contact me with what you’re looking for. I work up a draft in Photoshop and send it to you for comments and/or approval. Once you are happy with the draft, I list it in my store as a custom order for you and send you a direct link to purchase. How Much Do You Charge For Custom Requests? It all depends on the complexity of the design, how much time I have to spend designing it and how long it will take to cut. I am VERY fair. 90% of the custom requests I receive are sold for my standard stencil sheet rate with no extra markup. Do You Ship Internationally? Yes, but only through eBay’s Global Shipping Program. I don’t charge shipping, but eBay will charge you shipping when you checkout. I send it to their facility in Kentucky and they handle everything else. It can be more expensive than what you’d normally expect (I never see what they charge you), but it’s a business decision and this is the only way I ship outside the US. How Do You Prevent Underbleed? I use Krylon repositionable adhesive spray. Can be purchased at any of the main home improvement stores. Spray the back of the stencil lightly, apply the sheet to your project, paint, remove the sheet. It leaves no noticeable residue. This stuff has saved me many times. All stencils are personally created and all images were obtained in the public domain. Any use is not intended to violate any copyright laws and if you believe any may violate such, please notify me and I will remove them.
