Comes with the upgraded M28 dive computer. Includes eCCR compute unit, sorb canister, NEW (undived) tech counterlungs with manual injection valves, inverted steel tanks + inversion kit, and size medium Poseidon rebreather-specific BCD (I’m throwing this in as a “freebie” so whomever buys the unit can dive it right away). I purchased this unit secondhand about two years ago but was unfortunately not able to pursue my rebreather diving goals at the time. I have not dived the unit myself, and it seems a shame to have such a good piece of kit collecting dust in a closet. At the time I was preparing to dive with this rebreather I did have it completely serviced by Dive Gear Express in late 2022/early 2023 with new O2 sensors and new O-rings, and they also adjusted the regulators, computer, and everything else to work perfectly. It has not been dived since this service. This package will also include a very heavy-duty Pelican-style case for storage of the rebreather, and also a fairly extensive save-a-dive kit with spare parts for the unit. This unit also comes with the Blue and Green batteries. Battery units are required for the rebreather to function, and each battery assembly will “unlock” the rebreather to progressively deeper depths. A note: I have lost the battery charging pod and cable, but will purchase a new unit for the buyer from DiveGearExpress and have it shipped to the buyer’s address upon payment. Finally, this unit’s M28 computer IS SUBJECT TO A CURRENT RECALL NOTICE BY POSEIDON. This computer can be fixed for free by returning it to SaltBlue (the North American distributor for Poseidon products) in North Carolina at: ATTN: Brian Sheppard c/o Salt Blue2641 Silver Bend DriveApex, NC 27539. On purchase, I can send the unit to SaltBlue on your behalf and list the buyer’s address as the proper return address of the computer following service. The current lead time (per a conversation I had with a Poseidon representative) is 6-8 weeks. Alternatively, I can ship the unit as-is and the buyer can take care of this process. I’ll be sure to communicate with the buyer prior to shipping out the unit regarding these specifics. Finally, the Faber steel tanks (born in 2009, VIP in 2022) have been carefully stored (unfilled) for the entire time I’ve owned this unit. Due to shipping regulations, the tanks must be sent via ground transportation if the valves are left on. An international buyer will require the tanks to be shipped with the tank valves off. NOTE: Shipping outside U.S. mainland will incur a surcharge above the flat-rate shipping quote accompanying this listing.
