**IN STOCK – FREE SHIPPING!**I have been building custom guitar amplifiers for 16 years now and I now have a hand-wired model amp that I can build inexpensively. The Popp Rock Shop JEP50 is based on my favorite 2204 50-watt master volume circuit as was used in the late Marshall JMP50 and Early Marshall JCM800 amplifiers. It is super loud and provides plenty of crunchy goodness for hard rock, metal, doom, sludge, or anything thing where you want real tube distortion. The JEP50’s best feature is the “Bright Cap Clip” switch which allows you the switch the bright cap in and out of the circuit to tame that harsh high end at low volumes. This works especially well with clean settings. I also altered the resistor values to add slightly more gain, but nothing too crazy as to preserve the Marshall Sound. The JEP50 works amazingly well with a fuzz or tube screamer before the input if you need even more gain.The JEP50 is hand-turreted and hand-wired with high quality components. I built this amp to be a dependable workhorse for gigging musicians in mind and it will provide many years of dependable service!
