BY WEIGHT in a CONVENIENT and DURABLE Double Wall Polypropylene Plastic Jar w/ Lined Cap for Secure Closing. Product features: SIMILAR INGREDIENTS AND PROPERTIES AS DOW CORNING MOLYKOTE M-77. Over 60% Molybdenum disulfide, CAS# 1317-33-5. Base Oil: Dimethyl, phenylmethyl siloxane, trimethyl terminated, CAS# 63148-52-7. Thickener: 12-Hydroxy lithium stearate, CAS# 7620-77-1. Similar black-grey color, consistency, density: 1.95 gm./mL at 20°C (68°F), and base oil viscosity: 125 mm2/s at 25°C (77°F). Paste lubrication up to 230ºC (446ºF). Dry lubrication up to 400ºC (750ºF). Good water resistance. Good volatilization properties. Compatibility with many types of elastomers and plastics. Wider and higher operating temperature range than organic oil based pastes. Extreme load handling capacity. Apply by brushing or burnishing. A multipurpose, extreme pressure lubricating paste that can be used over a wide temperature range. It contains over 60 percent molybdenum disulfide lubricating solids in a Lithium soap thickened ultra-high performance silicone fluid. Suitable for lubrication points with low to moderate loads and low speeds which are subjected to water and extreme loads and temperatures. At temperatures above 230ºC (446ºF), the carrier volatilizes leaving virtually no residue and the remaining dry sliding film itself takes over the lubrication up to 400ºC (750ºF). For automotive and heavy duty general industrial use. A SUPERIOR COMBINATION: – contains molybdenum disulfide (“Moly”) for excellent metal/metal contact lubrication. – Silicone oil based; contains NO mineral or petroleum oils so it is safe for most plastics and rubbers. – Resistant to chemicals and oxidation. – Protects against fretting corrosion. ADVANTAGES: – Extreme pressure anti-seize lubricant paste for assembly and press fitting of new and rebuilt parts and fitting of threaded connections. – lubricates surfaces subject to extreme pressures and wide temperature ranges. – Prevents galling during machinery running-in period. – Extends the wear life of moving parts and equipment. – Help protect against fretting corrosion and cold welding of moving joints. APPLICATIONS: – A running-in lubricant for new or rebuilt equipment including gears, splines, journal bearings, cams and ways. – An assembly lubricant to reduce torque in fastening and unfastening of threads and bolts, minimize tension variation in bolts, facilitate assembly and disassembly and help prevent damage to threads. – Press-fitting lubricant to allow press fitting without chatter or stick-slip that reduces the fit force pressure required for interference fitting and minimizes distortion. – General-purpose lubricant for bearing shafts, bushings, splines, O-rings, packings and seals (except silicone rubber). – Assembly applications where high temperature is a factor. – Lubricating during running-in of gears, splines, journal bearings, cams; reducing torque in tightening threads and bolts; lubricating bearing shafts, O-rings, packings and seals, brake assemblies; press-fitting. – Metal/metal combinations with frictional and contact surfaces, brake anchor plates, and the brake pistons of disc brakes. – Suitable for lubricating parts consisting of materials that are not resistant to mineral oils.
