The Item Custom Paints for Painters by Painters This is for 1x 400ml professional aerosol of CANDY SEAFOAM GREEN which is a soft green with a sligth blue tone.The sample shown was sprayed over our coarse silver base coat, finished with our 2k clear Welcome to the world of candy paints.These paints are true candy which are a 3 stage paint, base, candy and clear. The nature of candy is that it is a coloured translucent basecoat.These are best sprayed over a coarse silver base or metal flake which can be seen through the colour, other colours will give a different colour tone. The more coats put on the darker and more intense the colour will be. Light even coats are best with a 50 to 60% overlap.This will dry with a matte finish so will need clear to protect it and give it gloss (2k or standard 1k are available from us in aerosols)Start by prepping the work in the normal way and wet flat with 800 wet and dry, do not break through the primer.Apply 2 to 3 even coats of the base coat letting each one matte off before applying the next, the length of drying time will vary due to temperature, application etcApply reduced candy in light even coats until the desired colour is achieved again let each one matte off before applying the next.with candys the more you put on the darker the colour will be.If any fine line work is needed let it matte off and give it an hour or two first.Apply clear within a 24 hour period for maximum adhesion.We also sell aerosol kits comprising of coarse silver base coat, candy, 2k clear – we can supply different colour basecoats and different clears ie 1k or matte.by 250ml, 500ml, 1liter and aerosolsALWAYS SPRAY A TEST PIECE FIRST.POSTAGE TO IRELAND, SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS ,ISLE OF WIGHT AND THE ISLE OF MAN WILL BE £14.95.
