Up for sale is a… Custom PINK Anodized Titanium Standoffs to fit the Benchmade 940-1 and 940-2 knives. (Won’t fit the 940 and 943 Series Knives with the flat backspacer). Upgrade the standard standoffs to ANODIZED PINK Rust Proof Titanium standoffs. These Custom Titanium Standoffs are a direct replacement for the Benchmade 940-1 and 940-2 Series Knives. Please note: No knives pictured or mentioned are for sale. What is included in this sale is only 2 x Titanium Standoffs to fit the original Benchmade 940-1 / 940-2 knife. Consisting of 2 x PINK Anodized parts in total. Normal 0 false false false EN-AU X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Anodizing Notes: PINK is a hard color to anodize, this color can vary on single parts to full sets from a Light Pink to a Purply Pink color. I have almost perfected it and I will try my best to keep the color as consistent as possible within any set purchased as many things affect it. Like ambient temperature, age of chemical mix, length of time anodizing, voltage, pre-cleaning procedure, voltage contact etc. (I am often re-doing it a few times to get it right, or wasting parts or throwing away parts in the process, it can easily take around 2 hours per set to get right) PINK is also very hard to capture on a photograph as it’s true color may look different under different lighting conditions or on different angles. or even on different screens when being viewed. Please take this a general color range only. As in real life it looks brighter due to titanium’s metallic surface reflecting through the color. Additional Titanium 940-1 parts: If wanting the Full Parts Set (screw set / standoffs / pivot set / axis lock bar / thumb stud set) it is best to order ALL the 940-1 parts at the same time. So it will be in the same anodizing batch and match much better than if ordered at a later date. * By placing an order for this PINK part you are accepting there could be a variation in color to what is pictured. To install this Custom Titanium part, good quality Torx tools will be needed. (Such as Wiha Torx tools) Once you have received a colored titanium product. It may appear to have lost color once touched, this is only just the oil from your hands. If the oil has been cleaned off the color will come back. Use acetone or nail polish remover to clean the oil off the anodized surface. The custom anodizing will look new again! Please Note: Only 2 x PINK Anodized Titanium Standoffs are for sale in this listing. No knives and No pocket clips are included in this sale.
