Half-duplex communication system. “VOX” (voice operated switching) automatically shuts off mic when someone in the house speaks. This means is that the speaker and microphone are never on simultaneously. High volume at both ends! Both the speaker and the microphone can be turned up to a high volume – without any possibility of feedback. Holovision door controllers are REQUIRED if the intercom system is used WITHOUT a KSU. Holovison door controllers are NOT REQUIRED on systems WITH KSU.
