FROM WIKIPEDIA: Ludwig Philip Albert Schweitzer (14 January 1875 – 04 September 1965) was a theologian, organist, musicologist, writer, humanitarian, philosopher & physician. A Lutheran minister, Schweitzer challenged both the secular view of Jesus & the traditional Christian view. Structure/Composition: The bust itself is made of a painted hard ceramic with a brown-bronze painted finish. The bust sits atop a black trapezoidal-shape magnetic metal (Cast-iron?) base which has a dull or flat black-matte finish. The bust is attached to the base with a large bolt & hex-nut. Bottom of the base is felt-covered. Usage/Wear-and-Tear: In excellent condition.
